Before we go any further, please bear in mind I have only been detecting seriously for
several months so my finds pouch isn't very full of interesting items yet. If you aren't
excited by these items, tuff, I am and that's what matters to me.
This has been my best Roman coin found so far (ok, so it's only the second Roman coin I
have found to date but it's early days yet !).
It's a Trajan silver denarius issued in Rome between AD 101 and AD 102.

I have also found a Roman fibula brooch.
And then there is a crotal bell still in working order.

A silver hallmarked crest inscribed with the name H. Smith, dated 1908. This find won
me Artefact of the Month at my local club for October 1999.
A Roman bronze finger ring key. This find won me Artefact of the Month for December
1999.
An Anglo-Saxon Polyhedral Pin Head, approx 7th Century. This find won me
Artefact of the Month for September 2001.
A Queen Mary Groat dated between 1553-1554
Plus the usual collection of buttons, lead tokens, musket balls etc.
